Thanks to all of you who have so far joined this group. Apologies for the lack of activity thus far but we now plan to regularly update this forum so that it becomes a dynamic online environment where people can share stories and experiences.
To update you on Hearts & Goals, we have now placed more than 150 AEDs (automated external defibrillators) in communities up and down the UK since we launched the campaign.
Some of you have helped this process directly and others indirectly, by sharing your stories and inspiring others.
Some of you were lucky enough to survive a cardiac arrest thanks to prompt CPR and early defibrillation, others tragically lost a loved one in a place where there was no AED available.
In both cases your stories continue to help us inspire people to join us in helping to tackle sudden cardiac arrest.
If statistics paint a stark picture, stories paint a human one and many of you have helped us to do this with great affect.
Thank you to you all and here's to the next 150 defibrillators!
If you haven't had chance to look at them yet you can take a look at some of our inspiring stories here heartsandgoals.org/inspirin...
