10 seconds Each day, Ideally do this in-between your running days so you do a total of 10 seconds on each of your non running days ( total of 4 days).
In terms of technique:
Get into plank position with your elbows on the ground right underneath your shoulders your feet hip-width apart. Make sure your back is flat and your head and neck are in a neutral position. Drive your elbows into the floor, and squeeze your quads, glutes, and core. Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth—don’t hold your breath.
I have attached a simple plan for you to put on your fridge should you wish to!! It shoes the time in seconds to do on each of the 4 days for that week.
Please let me know how you get on, and look forward to your summer abs 😀

I’m so sorry, my internet at home has been on and off all week, and off all day yesturday, so it’s been a bit tricky. Let me know how you get on today 😎
Thank you i think it was me though perfectly clear to most, i will do it every day because i can do 30 second plank but that’s my limit and i need the structure to build up so 10 seconds every day will be great
Going to try this later. Want to do with my hubby, so when he comes in from work, I’ll announce to him that we’re doing the plank challenge together! I’m so thoughtful...
Done. Hubby thought it would be funny to time me to 12 seconds 😡.... I didn’t even think I’d be able to even get up in that position and so was very difficult. Hubby did it no prob. I stopped the timer for him at 10 secs 😇. My abs sore already.
Started today as missed your post. Drawn up a timetable like yours. All colour coded 😊. Husband is joining me too (even though he can do it for a minute or so) to make sure I don’t miss a day.
Hi started today. But to be honest I couldn't get into the full position. Big toe, left foot was sore when bent. So I have started on my knees a d will work up from there. Will that be ok?
Did my first plank of the week yesterday - planning to do it on my non-running days so my next ones will be on Thursday, Saturday and maybe Sunday although I do have a race then!
