Good news and not so good news

Went to physio tonight. Good news it's not the achillies and I'm free to cycle to My hearts content. Not good news is that it's a big long word that I can't even say never mind spell. Basically could be a while before I'm. Running again. Needs iced every 3-4 hrs (not going to happen) have to go to docs and get referred for xray (why Im not sure) then take more tabs and also go see a foot person about miby getting gel insoles made.

Also got needles stuck in me which were dam sore. Yeah not in good form at all.

Sorry about not being able to run for a while Johnny, at least you can still cycle, that sounds bad regarding those needles stuck in you, nasty.

I wonder if you can do UnfitNoMore's challenge or at least one of them, the one I began this morning which is to do a100 push ups a day for a month. You can choose any time of the day after not eating anything for a hour, my version lasts 18 minutes, which are 10*10 reps every two minutes with about 9*90 seconds breaks between them, I started at exactly 10am and doing a hundred with the breaks works out at 18 minutes, perhaps as you can't run you could try that challenge during the merry month of May.

Yeah have been looking at a few 30 day challenges. I'm sorting looking at one that does pushups and squats. Trying to workout how to adapt it to suit me. It starts very easy and gets harder as it goes along.

Could up the swimming but really not that keen on it if I'm honest.

I am not fussy about swimming either, when I was 10 I almost drowned at a swimming pool, it sort of put me off swimming for life and I just continued with cycling, however, when I was 15 my uncle took me for a few swimming lessons and he said I was doing quite well but I preferred cycling and now I do some running as well.

I’m trying to think of long word injuries that mean you can cycle but not run! Here’s hoping that they find the answer for you soon.

I’m sorry about the running, at least you can make a proper plan to recovery now you know what it is. I hope it is a speedy recovery for you after they get the X-ray done. We will keep you going on here as much as we can, hang in there, Take care. Rfc x
