Anybody doing anything exciting on the exercise front this week. I've got another physio appointment, boy do those work the muscles.

What week are you on, or have you gone off plan and doing your own thing?

I am planning on doing an online yoga class. I did one last week on seated forward bends which was very good, haven't decided which one to go for this time although I have got one downloaded onto the app which is focused on centering and balance (or wobbling as it will be for me!)

Wobbling is so good for the core, people pay a fortune for wobbleboards😀. I spent ages training my self to put my shoes and socks on while stood up on one foot, my balance got so much better by just doing that. I should maybe start again, you lose it so fast when you stop.

I have been working on my push ups and I can do a full one... it has definitely made a difference to my running so I'm really happy!!

That is great news Ju. They work so many different muscles, strength work really is the equation to more speed I think.

I'm recovering from doing the Oxrun 5 mile race on Sunday. It's Day 2 and my legs are killing me. It was all in a good cause though, for the Children's hospital in Oxford. Did it in 1hr 5 , managed to run about half of it, without any training.

I get osteoarthritis in my knees so I've not done high impact for years but after losing 25lbs my knees feel much better and I surprised myself by running as far as I did. Would have helped if I'd had my Naproxen before I ran, I was running late (pardon the pun) and forgot to take them and my knees were swollen like footballs afterwards. But it was a great achievement and I'me very proud of myself.

Wow well done, great time. You've done great on the weight loss as well, I think you have earned yourself a little break 😀.
