Is walking simply the best way to move at this time of year? So many benefits...can you think of any more?

Right now it's perfect walking weather in Maryland. How about where you are? We know summer heat and humidity is on the way but we hope and pray to get a few more weeks like this! Living in the city, I try to walk a few blocks at least twice a day. It's nice to bump into people and it's great to stretch those legs :-)

I have two dogs so aim to walk them daily. We live on the coast so for 7 months of the year we have full access to all the beaches. In the summer though dogs are banned from all but two and they can get rather overcrowded so we tend to stick to field and woodland walks. Wish I could walk as far as I used to but aim to do what I can.

So you get 3 out of 4 seasons to walk your dogs on the beach - not bad! Dogs need exercise just like humans, so that is a great part of the partnership.

I do walk and ride a stationary bike. The weather isn't always cooperating though.

That sounds nice! Where did you walk and how far? Maybe another benefit of walking is marital harmony??!!
