Did you know that by being overweight by 10 pounds increases the force on the knee by 30 to 60 lbs. with each step. Incredible. Time to take back our lives. Watch what you eat and keep moving. It may not be easy but its worth it because, Movement is Life! Have a great day all. Don't give up.

Flowers17, thanks for reminding us how important our weight it to our knees. Yes, it is incredible that such a relatively small amount of additional weight like 10 lbs can have that much effect on our knees. We all just have to keep moving---to help keep our weight down and to be healthy for our bodies and our joints!

Yes! I find the more I move the less I eat. Also if I start with a good breakfast to jump start my metabolism I start moving more easily. Then if I have a healthy snack every two hours I can keep my energy up.

It really does take a mindful effort to make the choice to move each day. So many competing priorities but our health should be number one!
