Epilepsy misdiagnosis is common in syncope patients

Richard was misdiagnosed with epilepsy for over ten years.

In 2011, after encouragement from his wife Elaine, Richard sought a second opinion and was correctly diagnosed with vasovagal syncope.

Very interesting. I believe my daughter suffered an anoxic seizure but it could be epilepsy. I need to make sure I look into this properly
