Hi there sorry to hear that about your son it is frightening to watch once never mind twice. But I was told to try be calm and reassuring as they can take a second one if you panic. I'm told by consultants if it last more that 5 mins ring ambulance they may need oxygen. Farrah has had one that lasted 25 and did need hospitalise but the rest around 5/6 mins and didn't, they look at u sometimes in hospital like why did u bring her over she come round but you just don't know how long one will last. I asked should I buy oxygen for house and they practically laughed at me.

Hiya, I have just joined this forum and read your post. My 8 yo daughter has just been tentatively diagnosed with RAS and although it is reassuring to know what it is, it’s extremely frightening as you say to watch your child’s heart stop beating! My daughters is triggered by intense anxiety and she’s having CBT to help. What triggers your son?
I hope your ok and coping?
