My hands are dry due to my heat in my apt. I have tried to moisturize them but my hands get really cold and my Raynauld's worsens, my fingers turning blue or white.

Have others expeiences this condition?

No, it's fine. In fact, if you keep washing in water that is too warm because your hands are too cold you need it. Your skin can crack and chap from being cold even without Raynauds. I also have Sclerodema and have such tight skin on my face. I slather myself in Vaseline every hour or more often.

If you have open ulcers you may want to try something besides just moisturizer.

Best wishes getting through the winter.

I use Body shops Hemp hand cream, it lasts for ages and keeps my hands and fingers from splitting, have used for about 20 years now x

I use Aqueous cream. I find that hand creams, even the ones for sensitive skin just makes them burn and itch like crazy, good luck, X

My experience with it is don’t make a difference but can sure keep dry skin from chapping and cracking 👍

I get what you mean about just putting on hand cream can make my hands colder and trigger an attack - it seems to act like water or sweat would in channelling heat away from the hands. Yet my hands (and feet ) get horribly dry and cracked. So I now use the cream, then immediately put on a thin glove (cotton or the thinner silver gloves) and then my battery heated gloves or one of the heated Hot Rox or activated hand warmers inside a mitten or in my hand muff (and absolute godsend since I found it on a market stall about 25 years ago!). I usually only need to actively warms my hands for a few minutes after applying the hand cream until they rebalance themselves. I tent to use Aveeno hand cream for very dry hands, or Flexitol hand cream, as both are very nourishing, unscented and are absorbed very fast - so more goes into my hands than onto the gloves. Hope that helps!

My GP prescribes a cream called Dermol. I would say it's similar to E45 or maybe a tad better than E45 and it's also antimicrobial. I find it works well on my hands and feet. I have really tight skin on my feet. Hope you find something that helps.
