I've knitted everything but socks. You're like me, I always knit for gifts, never for myself. Maybe in 2022 we should put ourselves first and get warm for our health!!!

I’d never knitted before in my life I walked into a yarn store told them what I wanted she asked how long I’d been knitting I said this will be my first She looked at me said oh honey socks are the absolutely worst to start with try a dishcloth etc I said nope I was determined and came home and knit a pair of socks they couldn’t believe it lolI’m self taught at everything I love crafts crocheting until my fingers don’t cooperate anymore, needle punch embroidery, cross stitch, quilting, I’ve made a ton of things but only have a few myself lol

I got hooked on adult coloring books and my daughter bought me a Accuquilt and I’ve yet to use it .. shame on me😳

Do envy you, I can’t knit for toffee, my Mum was brilliant but I sadly haven’t inherited it! My tension goes all wrong and I end up with the knitting needle’s so tight I’m muttering and cursing. Can’t crochet either despite many valiant attempts, but I do love counted cross stitch especially maps of the counties of England. I guess you would need a piece of cross stitch the size of a table to stitch a map of California or other States! So hard in the UK to get our heads around how big the USA is.

I do love crafts though but had to give up needle punch and needle punch felting, I take warfarin and blood everywhere 😬😂😂🥴!

Definitely hot tea on the list, I drink gallons!

Cross stitch is fun too.

Have you seen this 18 foot replica an92 y/o woman knitted of the Queen's Estate. It took her 2 years to finish it. I find it amazing. Such intricate detailing.

I am hooked on adult coloring books too. OMG I just got a hilarious one call Swearing Cats, and yes the cats do swear and act out the swearing phrases in the colorings like I don't give a flying ------ with a cute cartoon kitty with wings to color in. I laugh so hard. I got one for my friend too I hope she isn't reading this!!!!

I bet the fact that you do crochet really helped with knitting. I never tried crochet, I really should. I've knitted tons of sweaters and everything else but never crochet. I'm really good with my sewing machine too.

Now that we have time our fingers and hands don't want to cooperate, isn't it always the way LOL

Chimama, I got myself these flannel jammies. I don't know if there are any chihuahuas but the doggies are so cute with their sweaters and hats!!!amazon.com/dp/B09CP8N7Y5/re...

I got bunny ones too since I've always had pet bunnies.

Yes definitely! So sad the doggy pj’s were out of stock, you always have the best things in the US, lucky you.

I’m currently using my doggies heat pad in the day time, gentler heat and lasts longer than a hot water bottle.

Have to remember to put it back for my two mini dachshunds in their cage at night or there’s trouble!

Beginning to smell decidedly doggy,

which brings me back to your ‘shower meme’, lol 😂🥴

Oh no, sorry the dog jammies were out of stock. I love mine so much and I'm a kitty and bunny person mainly.

I have a self-warming mat for my kitty. Do you know about them? You might want to check into one for your little dogs and yourself.

amazon.com/Heating-Cordless...

They also have them with furry coverings. I keep telling my kitty I might steal his. I started using the cordless self heating mats for my house rabbits because they could chew the electric cord and get electracuted.

Maybe they'll have the dog jammies back in stock after Christmas. They were probably popular gifts, it's probably my fault, I posted about them on a lot of forums. They should give me a free pair. I also got their bunny pajamas in 2 colors. They are the warmest flannel ever.

You need a longer holiday. It's better when the holiday falls on a Friday or Monday and you get a 3 day weekend.
