Hi guys, I have diffuse cutaneous scleroderma- I've noticed a lot of hair loss on my scalp - is that due to scleroderma? Is there anything I can do to prevent it? Thank you all :)

Hi, I have it too and think it's related to loss of blood and nerve supply to the scalp, but I'm not sure if that's right. Nothing I've heard of helps. It's a pain. Mine progressed quite quickly at first and has been more slowly over recent years.

Sounds possible although I took methotrexate for about 15months then switched to Mycophenolate. So it could be meds or a combination perhaps. X

I hope that the medics find something useful to treat it whatever the cause! It's a bit of a pain. X
