Scleroderma with Lung fibrosis and Lung cancer

I have scleroderma with Lung fibrosis and oesophagus damage and at present being treated with radiotherapy and chemotherapy for a tumour on the left lung and a lymphoma near the oesophagus. The radiotherapy is complete and has further damaged my Lung and oesophagus. I am still having chemotherapy. Has anyone been through this and what was the outcome? Thank you.

Hi Lorna, I am afraid that I can't offer any information on outcomes, but I really just wanted to reply to you and say I am thinking of you and wishing you all the very best. And I am sure that I speak on behalf of all of this online SRUK community when I say that I sincerely hope that you get a good outcome. I hope that the health professionals you see are able to offer you the support you need in this difficult time.

Thank you so much for your kind words. They are much appreciated. I have just had 12 days in hospital dealing with side effects and was in a 6 bed ward with some inspirational people who remain positive and cheerful despite their conditions. The staff too were great.
