Dholland29,

Welcome to the forum.

I have limited Scleroderma and have had it for just over 3 years. I was intrigued as to how you found out accidentally how you realised the you had the disease?

Forum is great for sharing stories and helping others.

I was under Renal for suspected IgA Nephrology as my brother has this and at the time l was showing all the signs of having this. So they did a full blood screen and that is when they discovered that I could have Limited Scleroderma (CREST) and was then referred to Rheumatology.

dholland29,

Sounds like it was a stroke of luck that you were undergoing tests for something else. Speed is of the essence with this disease to get referred to a rheumatologist.

Take care
