Hi davetreck,

I have Amlodipine prescribed by the doctor. Perhaps you should see your doctor/rheumatologist and ask for medication for you Raynauds.

Hello davetreck,

I am on Sildenafil (25mg per day, rising to 50 mg when it's cold or I am outside a lot). It works well. It comes on prescription from my NHS consultant, via my GP.

Hopefully your doctor will refer you for a complete set of hospital tests to see whether your Raynaud's is part of the Scleroderms (CREST) complex.

Good luck!

I don't know if there is any over the counter medicine for Raynauds. You must go to your doctor.

I have Primary Raynaud's and have kept it at primary over the winter months. Someone previously wrote that Sildenifil, the active ingredient in Viagra helps since it opens up the circulation. I have been using it now for over a month. I take a 20mg pill in the morning and another in the late afternoon. It does control the outbreaks, but does not take the Raynaud's away. I get the pills from my Eurologist. 90 pills for $100. Better than anything else I've tried. I just wish there were a cure by now.
