"Researchers have successfully 'listened in' on the crosstalk between gut microbes and the immune system. This is the first study to perform a system-wide analysis of microbial influence on a broad range of immune cells and all genes expressed in the gut".

Diagnosed with Limited Systemic Sclerosis about five years ago. Before diagnosis was having intestinal issues--loose stools and diarrhea any time I ate. Lost a lot of weight, got diagnosed finally and put on proton pump inhibitors, helped acidity but made gut symptoms even worse. Also killed off good gut flora and I was getting little candida eruptions on my skin! Thankfully husband suggested probiotics. Had to experiment around for right dose and mix, but am on Renew Life Extra Care now and truly I think this saved my life. If anyone on PPI and/or having gut issues probiotics are worth a try. You may need higher potency than people without issues, so don't give up if first try does not work. Different brands work for different folks.
