I'm sure many people will not like wearing big gloves because they're bulky but I wear mountaineering gloves most of the winter, make sure they're waterproof and windproof as well as insulating. There's some good ones here: cotswoldoutdoor.com/?fuseac...

I favour gloves that allow flexibility and can be washed and if necessary can go inside Thicker gloves. These are the gloves sold by SRUK the Raynaud's and Scleroderma Association. The gloves have a silver thread which reflects the heat. You can also put inside pockets of microcoal that keep the heat 8 hours. More information from their website.

I can't wear gloves as they set off an attack so have to wear mittens, wind proof and waterproof ones with a soft lining .... Aldi had some great ones for sale in the ski wear recently at about £5 a pair!!! Good Luck

Thanks Barty, I did have a pair of those, I found I could get a thin pair inside them, but I lost one and can't find any more Mittens of the waterproof kind.

I wear a thinner glove the silver thread ones are good with a ski mitten on top I've just bought some from go outdoors they're fab! I can pop a hand warmer in too and they go right down to the finger tips perfect for a nice steady winter walk 😊😊😊

For indoors, I find very useful vinyl 'examination' gloves (eg St John's Ambulance, and over that, fingerless gloves, and if necessary a handwarmer (eg Hottie) as well!

I wear 100% wool socks now for the freezing in my toes. Am amazed how cold they get. They feel frozen. Was able to get them at REI. Online, have seen 100% wool socks from Walmart and Kohls. The vinyl gloves sound like a winner. Am currently using a 100% wool liner glove. It's to thin, but does help a bit.
