Raynaud’s is a vascular disorder involving reduced blood flow in response to cold or emotional stress. It affects 10 million people in the UK so it is common and can range from being a 'mild inconvenience' to debilitating for some. It is mostly - but NOT always women who are affected ). Sometimes, Raynaud’s can be the first symptom of scleroderma, a rare rheumatic autoimmune condition estimated to affect around 8,000 people in the UK

The Raynaud's & Scleroderma Association charity website raynauds.org.uk gives loads of information and you can give them a call on 01270 872776. They'll give you a pack of information and they are really approachable and helpful - hope that helps
