Have you had problem with culitis or chrones because of scleroderma?

That has been discussed. I do have a bowel problem but it hasn't been penned down yet. The more tests, the more confusion.

Hi jbergs,

Presume you mean Colitis or Crohns. It is not at all unusual for folks with Systemic Scleroderma to develop intestinal disorders of all sorts because the intestine can be affected from mouth to the other end. I have no peristalsis from throat until past my stomach and as well my rectum is atrophied and the sphincters are atrophied too I think.

My problems have never been labelled as anything other than Scleroderma.

Thank you for responding. I know have problems in my mouth with my gums the bottom root of my teeth are pushing through.... I go next Tuesday back to my Rheum. hopefully I will get some direction
