My eyesight has deteriorated in on eye very quicly and I have been diagnosed with Wet AMD.

What are the next steps. The hospital have not been in contact with me and I am extremely worried and depressed.

Ask your GP to refer you to the Eye Unit (AMD) as soon as possible. It is treatable. My husband has it.

Contact hospital as soon as you can because it is treatable if caught early enough. Don't wait.

I have been to the hospital eye clinic, that is where I was diagnosed with wet AMD, but have heard nothing since. I contacted my GP and he said I just have to wait until I hear.

I am becoming extremely depressed and worried.
