Treatment was well tolerated, and no adverse events were reported. Our case series shows a potential role for self-administered taVNS in patients with severe pharmacoresistant RLS. Pain Relief
Hi all Can “anyone” offer me some advice as I’m at the “end of my tether” with pain! I’ve had a Triple Bypass and Mitral Valve Repair. I’ve had a Shoulder Rotator Cuff Repair. I’ve had a Laminectomy for Severe Spinal Stenosis which unfortunately failed and is now worse than before the Surgery! I

RLS & Spinal Injury
https://jpma.org.pk/article-details/11850 A recent study article from Pakistan shows that around 50% of patients with
spinal
cord
injuries
( including scars from MS) have RLS. I keep saying there are several distinct causes of RLS. Iron deficiency is one, kidney disease another.

spinal cord stimulator side effects
I wanted to know has anyone experienced itching skin ( mine is on my shoulder blades) following having a spinal cord stimulator fitted. I had mine fitted in 2018 and for some years now both my shoulder blades itch nearly all the time and drive me crazy, there is no rash or sign of anything on the skin

iron lab results 10 weeks post iron infusion
I have had four iron infusions in the last 2 years. 10 weeks ago I received Injectafer 1000 mg with so-so results. I had seen a hematologist at my neurologist/Sleep specialist’s urging out of his concern for my out of whack lab numbers. The hematologist was not concerned. I gave my sleep, specialist

Heartened to know I am not alone in the struggles caused by pramipexole
I have had RLS and PLMD as long as I can remember. I’m sure all of those nights I struggled with symptoms as a child that were brushed off as growing pains…RLS. My mom suffers mildly. Unfortunately, both of my daughters also have many challenges that began as teens. What I’ve been through is so complex

Possible Outcome of Severe Spinal Stenosis
I had a Laminectomy for Severe Spinal Stenosis which initially worked but has now failed and is worse than before. I had a Triple Bypass and Mitral Valve Repair and have now been diagnosed with heart failure so I’m not able to take any of the normal pain relief medication. I was referred to the Pain

Dear all, I will keep this brief so that I don't bore anyone! I am 55 yr female, and to my horror, fractured T12 out of the blue one morning two and a half years ago. Little did I think it was a fracture, so I walked and went to the gym for 4 days. This is with evolving neurological signs. Anyway,

Broken in all the right places?🧐🤔
This is me. I have permanent nerve damage on the majority of my left side from shoulder to hand to hip to shin. I have every excuse to wallow in self pity and take out my frustrations on the world and people around me...and I have, believe me. 2 Lower back fusion surgeries 5 days apart in '16 and a week

Anyone had spinal fusion on T10-12?
I have severe osteoporosis and kyphosis from breaking T10-T12 and wondered if anyone has had this? They're recommending a spinal fusion to fix this or otherwise to live in a brace forever hoping the kyphosis curve won't progress any more than it already has. I'm wondering which is the better option if

Does spinal fusion help take away severe pain from kyphosis due to broken vertebrae? (T10-T12)
My doctor is saying that I need to get a spinal fusion because I broke T10 through T12 back in 2011 so over 12 years ago and it is caused severe phasis due to my osteoporosis and from never getting it surgically dealt with at the time. I'm working on getting my bones stronger and he saying that if I

Goitre and Spinal Surgery
Hi. I am awaiting Cervical Spinal Surgery but also have a multinodular enlarged goitre. The spinals team says the goitre needs to come out first before they can get to the discs in my neck. It’s all a waiting game at the minute. I have a very high anaesthesia risk too. Intubation is difficult for

new surgery just doesn’t understand.
I have
spinal

injuries
, a below knee amputation and osteoporosis and kyphosis. This new surgery freaked out about the amount of MST I was on so I halved it.

Kyphosis treatment?
I have severe osteoporosis and severe kyphosis due to breaking T10-T12 ten yrs ago. I was in a brace for the first 8 yrs but now have not been for the last 2 years. I technically need a spinal fusion to fix my back but my bones are too osteoporotic. My Dr says I need to go back into a back brace to try

went off Xgeva for a year, have to go back on it. Ideas or tips helpful
Hi, the short version is I’ve been dealing w stage 4 MBC since 2019/ 2020 with mets to the bones since 2020, including a thoracic spinal fracture which led to a spinal fusion. I was put on Xgeva for a couple of years and later read on Xgeva’s website that being on it long term is likely to increase
