Hi we recently had the diagnosis of Edwards syndrome to a severe degree with our little boy. We decided to make the very difficult decision to terminate the pregnancy by inducing labour at 21w4d. The most painful decision I have ever had to make. The pain I am feeling after is immense. Little Leo had multiple heart and brain defects, apnea, kidney problems, growth restriction and cleft hands and deformities of his feet. We were told he would not survive the pregnancy and will not be born alive. I’m devastated. I’ve been home for 3 days today and my heart is breaking
