Sodium cromoglicate - GP won't supply any more
I have MCAS and POTS (as well as autoimmune, ME/CFS, histamine intolerance and a raft of other conditions) and recently started on
sodium
cromoglicate
. The outcome has been almost miraculous - the first medication of my many that seems to have had any real effect.

Availability of Sodium Cromoglicate
Hi, is anyone else having supply issues with
Sodium

F3 Fibrosis Regression
hi all First post and have to say, read a lot of posts and can only thank everyone who contributes and helps educate others about their own personal way forward. So here is my question. How long does it realistically take ( with doing everything possible ) to regress from F3 severe fibrosis to F2?

How much salt is good for an elderly CKD patient?
I just read a reply to a 77 years old lady advising her to keep her salt low. I wonder if it is good advice for an elderly patient according to a study reported in the periodical Nephrology Dialysis Transplantation titled "Predictive effect of salt intake on patient and kidney survival in non-dialysis

lidocaine?
A doctor is recommending I try a lidocaine patch for diagnostic reasons. Does anyone have experience with it or know if it is contraindicated for afib? It is apparently a sodium channel blocker. It is sold over the counter as IcyHot etc. Thank you so much!

New results confused
Hi all, I was chatting on here a few days ago worried about blood results and my GP saying I had CKD and had had this for quite a while. I had no idea. Now, this is what I don’t get, two weeks ago I had my kidney bloods done and the results were worrying apparently? The blood test was repeated yesterday

Low Sodium Level
Hello Seeing low sodium levels in blood work, and they believe it is because of the cancer cells. I do take salt tablets and increase salt in food and drink. What's the best way to prove methods of increasing sodium levels?

Stage 4 - Soup?
Do any of you in Stage 4 eat Chicken Noodle Soup, etc.? I also have very low BP and have to take Midodrine daily to keep a normal BP. So, the salt in the soup would be helpful. Is the sodium content the only reason they say we shouldn't have too much soup? If BP is low, is it okay to eat? Thanks

Stem Cell transplant register search goes on…
Unfortunately my next appointment with Consultant has been delayed until early April as they are no further advanced in their search for matches on transplant register. The Nuclear medicine tests that I have just had will be added to MyChart which Addenbrookes uses to show appointments, test results

Adding more T3? or keep as is?
Hello All, I am looking to see any suggestions regarding adding more T3 to my current regimen. I am on 175 Tirosint T4 and 10mcg T3; I have Hashimoto’s and have been working on my iron by adding iron bisglycinate, which has helped as I am not dizzy, lightheaded, and have more focus. I also noticed
