the fear of going to bed is horrendous. the one place that we really need to recharge our batteries, to rest and heal. what a cruel thing our brains do to us! store up all the worries until our heads hit the pillow.

YOU HAVE TO STOP TALKING TO YOURSELF FIRSTLY..

Yes I am trying to find someone to talk to. If I had the money there seems to a lot of help but going though your doctor takes 2 or 3 weeks which feels like a life time at the moment 😂

Instead of sleep I would recommend listening to some of the guided meditations on YT. It helps to relax a bit without getting a wink of sleep. Best of luck trying to find help with a doctor too dude.

Funny you say that spacedorito! That's what I did last night, yes it really did help me relax. But still no sleep😢 thanks for the advice.

Hi. I’m sorry to hear this! Sleep anxiety is the worst!! Shutting your brain of is not easy. Have you tried binaural beats, sleep mediation, or sleep hypnosis apps? I have sleep anxiety as well and I use this at times. I also rub an oil on that does a fantastic job at calming my nerves. It’s called Dr. Hauschka’s Moor Lavender Calming Body Oil.

Also, is there anything besides being worried that might keep be keeping you from sleep? Insomnia perhaps? There is a good book by sleep specialist W. Chris Winters called «The Sleep Solution» that might be of interest to you. He talks a lot about various sleep disturbances, the inner workings of sleep meds., the optimal sleep environment, and much more. Insomnia seems to be his speciality since he talks about it at great length.

Good luck!
