Hi takes me hours to get off to sleep often. What's your pattern of sleep?

Hi

I have no problem getting to sleep it's staying there! I can sleep for an hour then be awake for few hours, doze off again then wake. No pattern to it at all.

Suffered for years & under GP for it last few months who prescribed temazepam but I don't take them regularly only when I'm really desperate. I know they can be v addictive.

Once you go off do you stay asleep?

Oh blimey so sorry. Yes I am better when I've gone off to sleep after hours. Are they sleeping tablets? I recently got prescribed some I think beginning with K I get too scared to take them. But I can struggle at work so I might need to sometimes.

Yes they are sleeping tabs. I use very intermittently as they can make you feel drowsy the next day. What meds are you prescribed?

I understand you may be worried about taking them however...

Sleep deprivation can be so debilitating & has a knock on effect. I work in a hospital so need to be alert hence only use when I'm not working next day.

Have you tried sleep apps to help you go off to sleep?

Yes they don't work lol. I have zopiclone, not taken yet. How are you? Sorry for the late reply.
