Yikes! I hope it doesn't come to that. What are you doing to facilitate bowel movement? I had a lot of constipation during pregnancy.

Please do not go go down that route until you have exhausted ALL avenues. I suffered for most of my adult life, but now have no trouble. Solution, look to your diet, sugar is not your friend, increase fibre (I use granola and mixture of nuts), LIVE yoghurt (important) and the one thing that will get you moving is VSL3 probiotic powder. You only need to use a little and build up the dose, IT WORKS, PLEASE TRY! Please let me know how you get on.😀

Try a tablespoon of olive oil a day. If you can’t drink it add to salad etc. works for me. I’ve had bowel surgery, taken meds, this works for me. My way of taking it is to pour on hot toast, add sliced tomato and salt and I have no issues now.

I've had three colonoscopys in the last couple of years and thank God no cancer just polyps removed. Adding more fibre to your diet is a great help I find now. I always have Benefibre in my drinks twice a day now, sometimes only once a day if bowels are regular. It works really well and can recommend it for constipation.
