My 3 top tips to SCD symptoms

1. Avoid stress, if going out for an appointment try and leave plenty of time ahead of the appointment to avoid rushing. Know your limits. Having a good sleep and rest is also very important. Slow it down when you know you have reached that point when you know you are over doing it.

2. Be well hydrated, drinking lots of water.

3. Be sensitive to yourself, learn to know the onset of a crisis and take appropriate medication. Let friends and family know what to do when there is a severe crisis on hand. Medication, GP and Haematologist Consultant details.

Whatever be the case remain positive and reach your set goals.
