Hi There! I was diagnosed April 1, 2021 with uterine sarcoma. April 20, I had a full hysterectomy and completed 4 cycles of chemotherapy May - Aug 2021, Mayo Clinic - Rochester, MN. I have completed my 1st CT scan with NED :) This Fri, Dec. 10th is my 2nd CT scan and praying for continued NED. I have completed genetic testing which resulted in no identifying markers. I am on this new journey to discover a new life focused on living in the present moment, having time for self and family, enjoying exercise, learning about a plant based diet, exploring integrative approaches and practicing daily gratitude.

Welcome to the group, I dip in and out, and I love your positivity. Yes I am similar to you with finding how one can have a new lease of life and new outlook to a new journey and appreciate everything and every moment of living. It will nearly be a year in January since my diagnosis with full Hysterc. in the Feb. and chemo and radiotherapy treatment from April to the end of July. I have started swimming which I love now, as used to jog but it takes too much energy. Here in the UK I havent had much bloods and checks as yet, so hoping at my appointment next week they will do some form of check rather than ask if I am OK? I did have an xray on my pelvis/hip as my left side was aching from the radiotherapy, and that was where they removed 9 nodes (inner groin area).

Good luck with future checks and sending you all the love and positivity. We are 'C' warriors! xxx
