How does it feel to live with cancer?

I was just curious that how does it feel to live with cancer.

I don't understand why but these days all I'm thinking about cancer and I just need to collect all information regarding cancer.

I want to know the stories of people who got diagnosed with cancer and after getting a treatment living a normal life.

Can anybody share their inspiring stories of fighting with cancer?

How did you first know that you may have cancer and where did you go for diagnosis and what treatments your doctor opted to treat your cancer?

I’m going on for a paracentisis Friday. I had at least a dozen in 2018. I’m probably not the norm. I have chemo resistant cells so I switched to the university of Colorado in October 2019 in the hopes they would have more options available that my traditional oncologist could not provide. I end up having to go to the hospital yearly for draining and pain management. I just started my 4th year. My mom, on the other hand in in her 14th year with the same diagnosis and has responded beautifully to whatever they have given her and she feels great. It all depends on your genes as to how you respond.

Thanks for the response! It must be too tiring for you to visit again & again at hospital. Btw how are you doing recently and how do you feel after paracentisis? What did your doc said about how much time it will take to be cured?

Of course, its not one of my favorite procedures but you feel great afterwards. All that pressure is gone and you are usually hungry, since you now have room. Can't wait to have a nice meal Friday evening. My doctors have made is clear that it is uncurable. They manage it like a chronic disease. Basically I'd be on chemotherapy or some other treatment the rest of my life. Both the English and the Israelites have been working very hard on cancer cures and have some exciting treatments coming up. I just hope our Government doesn't get it bogged down here in America once it becomes available. The English treatment is available over there but I can't go to England for it. I'm an American citizen. The Israelites are still working on their version, but from little bit is available to read, it sounds neat.
