Is there anyone that has been prescribed Melphalan/Alkeran for Peritoneal Carcinoma. I was to have 6 rounds of Carboplatin/Doxil but after 5th round my CA125 shot up. I have just been put on Melphalan 2mg. 4 tablets for the first 5 days of the month followed by bloodwork after 30 days. Is there anyone who can give me any feedback or your experience with this drug.

Just wanted to let you know I read your post but I don’t have any experience with this particular drug. I was surprised because I didn’t even recognize it as a drug used for ovarian cancer and I thought I was doing pretty good at staying up to date. I look forward to reading how you do on it and will keep my fingers crossed that it takes you to a lasting remission.
