Recipes for juicing?

I just purchased an Nutri Bullet to be able to juice fruits and vegetables. I have an ileostomy bag and many fruits and vegetables have been off limits because of the skin. I thought being able to juice them would be a great way to add more to my diet. The cookbook that came with the machine is OK but most recipes have ingredients that really aren't available in my area. Does anyone have juicer recipes that are simple and easy and healthy?

Hi Irel, I have a nutri bullet and I like to experiment with it although I tend to mostly have an ‘anti cancer’ combination of apple, carrot, lemon juice, turmeric (powder and plant), ginger (powder and plant) super green powder, ice and whichever fruit juice you fancy. During my research these are shown to be beneficial and along with my faith in God’s healing, they help me to not get too anxious.

Thank! This all sounds doable and for the most part findable. I don't think we have turmeric plant and I am not sure what super green power is. I am going to try this. Looking for drinks to help ward of a reoccurrence and you are so right about God. He is holding my hand through this challenging journey.

I had Ileistomy also. i hope yours can be reversed. There is something called a Green Machine. You could look it up. You should stay away from pineapple tho, maybe use the juice only.

I am having it reversed in June if tests permitted it. Very nervous about the surgery but I hate wearing a bag. I have leaks and can't seem to get a tight enough seal. Just take it one day at a time. I did juice a pineapple and I think I did alright. Why should I stay away from it?

As long as you remove the pulp. I was told it is too fibrous for the ostomy. I just stayed away from most fibrous fruits and veggies. I was always afraid of blocking up. My reversal went very well but it’s no walk in the park. Today I eat anything and everything . I don’t miss the bag. It took about a month for me to get on track. I will never have the same digestion process I used to have because of removal of some colon, but I manage. Best of luck to you.

Thanks-the nutria bullet seems to grind things up very well. I too am concerned about a blockage. Will do the reversal in two months. I have heard it is tough but I hate the bag so much, at some point I hope it will be better. Thanks for the good wishes.
