High-grade serous carcinoma ovarian cancer , Blood Clot

Hi,

My mum has High-grade serous carcinoma ovarian cancer. doctor choose to give chemo first. after three chemo she developed blood clot after that doctor decided to give three more chemo. No after three chemo clot is gone but doctor have stopped all treatment for two months and decided to never he will never do surgery

Now how will my mum will be get better without surgery? Any one gone thru this please advice

Since your mum is not having a debulking surgery, why not look into safe alternatives to reduce and slow tumor growth? Some examples that have been more studied are Ginger root (dried) and LDN (low dose naltrexone if your mum is not opioid dependent). Both of these have published studies you can read about. Other things include dandelion root tea (yuck), apricot kernels and carrot juice with curcumin. Also, the way that a PET scan works is by using radioactive glucose to mark the tumors so they can be seen on the scan. Cancer grabs up glucose more quickly than normal cells, so the glucose goes first to the cancer (as long as the person is at rest as to not draw the glucose to the muscles). According to this principle, a little baking soda mixed with pure maple syrup will deliver toxic alkalinity into the cancer cell via the glucose. Some people consider holistic supplements as quackery, so do your own research and come to your own conclusions. My point is, if surgery is not an option, you have nothing to lose by trying this approach in addition to her treatment, and these supplements are generally harmless to normal cells. Did the doctor decide not to do surgery because the chemo got rid of the cancer? Or did he say there was still cancer but he didn't think surgery would help?
