Doc Appt tomorrow- what should I ask for?

I recently moved to a new city, and have a new patient appt. tomorrow. I know something is not right with me, and I suspect OvCa. I have several risk factors (Endometriosis, colon and ovarian cancer on maternal side) and a host of symptoms.

I'm worried the doc will wave off my concerns. Should I push for an ultrasound? Something else? What would be the most useful?

Hi Sunshing1981 , apologies as I'm just seeing this message now. How did it go at your appointment? Were you able to bring these issues up with the doctor? Please keep us updated- hoping all the best for you.

I'm just seeing this note as well. I was on vacation and was "disconnected". Whenever I go to a new doctor, I bring a sheet of paper that summarizes my medical history and a second one that gives my family's medical history (cancers, heart disease, etc.). I also bring a list of questions because otherwise I end up thinking of questions I should have asked after I get home.

I know by now you have had your appointment. Let us know how it went. I hope your doctor took your symptoms and family history seriously.

Best wishes,

Gwen
