I believecI have had Ovarian Cancer 2 years, but I was diagnosed only in June 2017. I was in very bad shape, I had cysts on both of my ovaries, on my spleen, on my bowels, colon and periotanel cavity.
I had surgery on Aug 17th, a complete hysteroctomy, spleen removal, 2 parts of my colon were removed, a bowel resection. All said and done all my organs were bot affected, they are all working.
I am scheduled for preventative chemotherapy in Oct, I will be given a combination of Paxol and Carob
I got on this site this morning and it looks like it will be helpful.
Sincerely, Michelea

It sounds as if you are in good hands. What a time you have had. I'm so sorry you have had such a journey. As a friend told me after my last diagnosis, "put those big girl panties on and put up you dukes and fight." That is pretty much any of us can do. Good luck and many prayers to you.
I am staying strong through this difficult life. My sister always comments how positive I am. I know that I need to heal before ny chemotherapy starting 0n the 4th of October. I was approved today for a patch for 3 to 5vdays, to hopefully help with the nausea and hunger.
Yes I am at the best comprehensive cancer hospital in Duarte, Ca. City of Hope, they are wonderful for allvmy medical needs and comfort.
Thanks for posting! Yes, it seems like the chemo is the one that is tested and used by everyone as a first level. I use meditations to help get me through chemo. This is my list, but there's lots of good ones on Youtube. youtube.com/playlist?list=P...
