Welcome. Hearing from long term warriors like you is like a nice cozy blanket
Where do you live in states?I am in the DC area treated at medstar Lombardi.
I was diagnosed with stage 3B 24 years ago. In 2017 I cancer spread to pull the fluid in the lining of my left long to go Browns lectures all for some of that 2018 year then in 2019 tears after they diagnosed me with the floor fluid, my cancer spread to my liver and bones And peritonium. Currently I am IV infused with taxol weekly. This treatment is easier on me than Ibrance and shrunk my cancer areas a good amount in three months
Hi Jewelyn, I have been on ibrance and faslodex injections for over a year. I am reducing my ibrance from 125 to 100. Too many annoying side effects. Hit loss and thinning, lost of taste buds, sore tongue. Good luck.
Hello Jewelyn ! Welcome to the site. Wonderful group of ladies and gentlemen ! Thrilled that you've been a warrior of MBC for 10 years. I just joined the site in Nov of 2020 having been diagnosed with MBC. I'm currently on iBrance 125 and Faslodex. 6 months in and my last Pet Scan in May showed a 31-50% reduction in tumors on my right breast. Need to have a biopsy on the Pleural Effusion. Fluid increased but the "purple dots of potential cancer" have also reduced. So good to hear you've carried the flag for MBC warriors for over 10 years. Blessings ! xoxo Julia
Love hearing this! Thanks for sharing and here's to at least another 10!
Wow 10 years of surviving MBC is awesome. I would love to have that amount of time. I was diagnosed about 8 months ago. Am on Ibrance 125 mg. and Letrozole. They seem to be working. So far only metastases to 2 bone areas. Scans at the end of this month. Hope they show NED. Thank you for sharing your success story. It gives me hope.
Greetings: Sister/warrior. This is great news. May GOD grant you 10 plus more . We celebrate your victory. 👍😇
Amazing! Ten years! Gives me hope.
