hopenowandtomorrow profile image

This is the webinar/zoom call I sent out a few weeks ago. Dana Farber & a Harvard educated doctor will be presenting & answering questions.

Please join LBBC for our free virtual program Ask the Expert: New treatments in metastatic breast cancer today, Wednesday, December 16, from 7:00 - 7:45 p.m. (ET). Below are your instructions for successfully participating in this program.

To access the program online:

secure3.convio.net/lbbc/sit...

Use this link to access the zoom webinar platform. Then type your name and email address to join the webinar.

We encourage you to tune into the webinar a few minutes before the session is scheduled to begin so you don’t miss anything and can troubleshoot any technical pieces. If you are having technical difficulties or are unable to access the webinar, check out these Tips for Participating in a Zoom Webinar.

As a zoom webinar participant, you will be able to see and hear the featured speakers, but we won’t be able to see or hear you.

You will be able to submit your questions for our experts throughout the program by typing them into Zoom’s Q&A feature located at the bottom of your screen. Please remember to keep your questions general so that they can be helpful to everyone participating.

Thank you for your interest in this program. We look forward to your participation!

Living Beyond Breast Cancer

P.S. If you know other people who could benefit from this program, please forward this message and let them know it's not too late to participate.

Hi, this sounds like it was very interesting. Will your post us a reminder at the time of when it is available to listen to? I know I will never remember to look for it. And was this a in relation to the annual event at San Antonio?

NIH has a new stage 1 trial for MBC. I met with them on Monday. I will not do this right now but I went through the process so that when and if Im ready, i can just slide in. I am giving Ibrance and faslodex a shot t is more potent than. This study is for a new drug to use other than herceptin. Now, with that said, I am +1 and not considered HER2 positive yet NIH considered me appropriate for the study. they are actively recruiting for anyone interested.
