My news on Fenbendazole

Yesterday I received the results of my bloodwork since I started Fenbendazole on August 16 and was so happy and relieved that my tumor markers went down CA15-3 from 55.44 to 44.74 and CEA from 15.86 to 15.08. My liver enzymes, creatinine, BUN and CBC were all normal (well normal for my ANC is 1.065)

Two months ago, my CA15-3 went up from 33 to 43 and CEA from 13 to 15.46 Last month, CA 15-3 went up again from 43 to 55 and CEA from 15.46 to 15.88. I also had a PET/CT scan last month as my onc wanted to see what was causing the rise in markers. Scan results were “mostly stable”, no new nodes but nodules in pleura increased in SUV intensity and the supracarinal node though not enlarged lit up as well (previously did not light up at all.) in other words, the cancer was active. There was also fibrosis in left lung which may be due to inflammation/infection. My onc decided not to change my meds Ibrance and Fulvestrant which I was thankful for.

Last August 16, after the scan, I started the Fenbendazole Panacur C 1gm for 14 days then rest for 4 days then took it for 3 days again before my blood work on Sep 5. I paired it with Vit E and Vit D3. I also continued with my probiotics and tart cherry capsules.

I do not know if it is the Fenbendazole that caused the reduction in markers but I would like to think so. I have not experienced any side effects and apparently, it is okay on the kidneys and liver (based on my bloodwork) although I don’t know about long term use since I’ve only been taking it for less than a month.

I am sharing this so that those taking Fenbendazole and those thinking about taking it will learn from my experience. I will continue to take it on the 3 days on 4 days off schedule together with my Ibrance and Faslodex. I take the Fenbendazole at breakfast and the Ibrance after dinner.

Hope this information helps. I am thankful that I can continue with Ibrance and Faslodex and hope that my next blood work in 2 months shows another reduction in tumor markers. God is good and I will continue praying for healing for us all🙏 For those who are taking Fenbendazole, please share your experiences.

Maria

I’m so pleased your markers have dropped...hard to know if the fembendazole is the cause...a bit early to tell but still it’s certainly encouraging

I’m planning on going back on the membendazole soon when my energy levels improve...I have those from COC so will use them up...don’t know re the other meds from them

All the best

Hi Maria: So happy you are having good results! I am on the same regime as you are, with the exception of tart cherry capsules. I started IBrance/Faslodex/Xgeva May 2019 and Fenbendazole 8/6/19. I had SBRT on my pelvic tumor April & up to Mid-May 2019. I am awaiting a scheduled bone scan 9/25. My onc says it is too early to do a PET scan. Maybe Oct or Nov. Either way, I hope something is working. I will keep you posted.

What do the tart cherry capsules do for you?

Thank you!

I believe the tart cherry capsules are for bone pain or arthritis. Actually, I just found out about the tart cherry capsules from Sophie. Send her a message and she will be able to tell you more. She can even send you a link from where she buys it from that gives a buy 1 free 1 offer. She has bone mets as well. I have lung mets and mediastinal/hilar lymph node mets but no bone mets. Hope are meds work well for us😄

It’s early days yet so can’t be sure it’s the Fenbendazole. But I really hope it’s helping control the mets.

So happy to hear your news Maria. Never know what's working but hope your combo does for a long time!

Yes I don’t know if it’s the Fenbendazole but I’m hoping it is what caused my markers to come down after a couple of months on the rise. Will know more after my next blood test and scan.

Really pleased that you're making good progress. You can't say for sure it's the Fenben but it sure is a coincidence if not! Fingers crossed it continues for you. Best wishes. Josie xx

Yes I’d like to believe it’s God-incidence as I’ve been praying for a respite from my rising tumor markers.

Thank you Sandra! What dosage do you take?

I've just been doing some research on fenben as my markers are also slowly inching up too. I will hope for continued success for you. Do you have any suggestions where I can buy it?

MyMiracle13 profile image
MyMiracle13 in reply to NShaft

Hello. I order my Fenbendazole from the USA. Countryside Pet Supply is very reliable. I also order from EBay. They have different sellers but you have to check which ships to your country. I live in the Philippines and not all the EBay sellers of Panacur C ship here. Actually the shipping cost almost costs the same as the meds😄. I use the Panacur C 1 gm by Merck.

Autumn56 in reply to MyMiracle13

People on the Fenbendazole fb group are buying it from the Ulraine , free shipping and about $ 18 for 100 grams, it's on Ebay.

Just to let you all know, the safeguard brand says in small print d/b/a Merck! and much cheaper in USA anyway ... only on my 2nd week, I am a bad patient even unto myself as didn't want to take it 14 days so started with the 3 on 4 off right off the bat. Joe is right, easiest just swallowed with water and has absolutely ZERO taste. Will be having tests again in November and we shall see what the effects are. I had to stop taking palbociclib because of chest pains and blood pressure getting out of control, and rising MCH and MPV levels indicating liver injury; I know it was the culprit because all returned to normal right after I stopped it. I was fine on it for 4 mos. I am finally getting over that let-down, I got so depressed when I went off of it, which came out of left field because I wasn't expecting it. Oh and I gained 10 pounds which I did NOT NEED! God bless you and heal us all in Jesus name, amen!

I get it from Amazon.

Glad to hear your good news. If things are making you feel positive, it can help you fight on. Long may it continue for you.

That’s true. I feel that if the Fenbendazole works then there is hope for all of us with no, or minimal, side effects. I will keep on posting my results as it is early days yet to know if it was the Fenbendazole that lowered my markers.

in reply to MyMiracle13

That would be amazing. Is that the worm tablet?

MyMiracle13 profile image
MyMiracle13 in reply to

I’m taking the Fenbendazole which is the canine dewormer. It’s not a tablet but powder form. I think you mean Mebendazole which is the human deworming version.

GratefulThriver profile image
GratefulThriver in reply to MyMiracle13

Does the human version work too?

hopenowandtomorrow profile image
hopenowandtomorrow in reply to GratefulThriver

Yes, it is used in the UK to treat cancer. In the US, the drug is not prescribed for cancer & it costs much more in the human form.

MyMiracle13, this is very exciting news, congrats!!! I'm new to this site (and new to MBC), but a friend told me about fenbendazole. I was a bit skeptical, but I'm so glad to hear that it's working. So long as it doesn't cause toxicity or interfere with any of the conventional treatments we're on, what's the harm in trying, right? Your oncologist is okay with you taking it? I've wanted to ask my onc about it, but he's so dismissive of everything. Please keep us updated!!

MyMiracle13 profile image
MyMiracle13 in reply to MJ_Michigan38

I emailed my onc the articles on Fenbendazole before my appointment with him and when I saw him and brought up the topic, he quickly brushed me off and even laughed saying it’s not an accepted protocol and hasn’t been tried in clinical trials. So, I haven’t told him yet that I’m taking it and will wait till my next scan and blood work. So far, I am not experiencing any side effects and my last blood work was normal so I will continue taking Fenbendazole.

hopenowandtomorrow profile image
hopenowandtomorrow in reply to MyMiracle13

I didn’t “officially” have a conversation with my onc about starting Fenbendazole in August. However, I did add it to my medication list when asked by the intake nurse what new Med/supplements I am taking. No one has said anything.

I completely understand the predicament the Oncologist’s (and all medical providers) are in...they are required by law to follow the approved “standards of care” in order to:

1) Get claims paid

2) Avoid lawsuits (which are prolific in the US)

3) Keep their medical license.

If we were in their shoes we would do the same, right?

As long as they do not tell me there is a interaction problem with what I have on my medication/supplement list (and I also check for myself on Sloan Kettering’s integrative medicine’s site to be sure. mskcc.org/cancer-care/diagn... ent/integrative-medicine/herbs/search), then I take it.

❤️🙏❤️

MyMiracle13 in reply to hopenowandtomorrow

Good advice😄. I just wished though that my onc didn’t just brush me off the way he did. It made me feel like a quack!

hopenowandtomorrow profile image
hopenowandtomorrow in reply to MyMiracle13

I dislike being treated that way too. When a healthcare provider is dismissive, it is very hard to take. ❤️🙏❤️

I agree. They should try to understand what it's like to be desperate to survive a terrible disease.

My medical practitioner tells me it is illegal for me to email her or for her to read my emails when I try to send her any info about the COC clinic or anything else for that matter. Has anyone ever heard of that one?

MyMiracle13 profile image
MyMiracle13 in reply to Autumn56

No I haven’t heard that one. My oncologist reads all my emails but chooses which ones to disregard or not believe in.

had a PET scan last week, and compared to feb 1st PET, everything is down 50%.Exception is I have a new bone met on my sacrum. I had just completed my 4th week of fenbendazole

when I had the 2nd PET. No idea what's working. I've been gaining ground since startred

treatment in Feb,with Letrazole. I also take Carnivora, Graviola, turkey tail mushroom capsules, fermented tumeric. I plan to add yet more supplements in coming weeks. I

want to be clean, cured, so badly, as I have heart disease that is a real problem.

Thanks for posting your progress with fenbendazole

MyMiracle13 profile image
MyMiracle13 in reply to Arkait

Let’s see what Fenbendazole does to the new met in your sacrum. Hope it’s reduced too at your next scan. Please give us an update on your results. I used to take graviola too but stopped it because I didn’t know if it would react with the Fenbendazole. I stopped all my supplements and just take it with Vit E and Vit D3.

How are you doing to fendenozol? Are u still taking it? Are taking cbd oil? I hv heard some wonderful things about it and I hope all is well with you!

MyMiracle13 profile image
MyMiracle13 in reply to kduck

Hi! I’m still taking Fenbendazole but I don’t get another blood test till end of October so I won’t know till then if it’s still working. My last blood work showed reduction in my tumor markers. Hope it continues. I don’t take CBD oil because it’s not available here in the Philippines. I take Vit E and D as well as Tart Cherry capsules.

what is your update on the fenbendazole? just curious about what has happened over several more months. I take ibrance/letrozole and fenbendazole as well.

MyMiracle13 profile image
MyMiracle13 in reply to beaverstate

Hi. My last bloodwork was Nov 4 and my CA15-3 went down by a couple of points. My scan is not until early February though so I can’t say if there has been shrinkage of the tumors. I’m just glad that the tumor markers haven’t gone up since I started taking Fenbendazole. How about you? What’s your update? I am still taking Fenbendazole with my Ibrance and Fulvestrant.

Godbeforme profile image

Hi Maria! I've been taking fenben for almost a year and having bloodwork done tomorrow so I am anxious to see what my tumor markers are. I take it 3 on 4 off, along with Vit. E and D3, calcium and letrozole. I will let you know my results which hopefully will be available by Friday. I had been taking half a letrozole daily then recently changed it to half every other day, so that's another reason I am hoping for good results and that the fenben is providing back up. It was just really messing with my wrists and hands and I have to be able to use my hands , as we all do. God bless you and heal us all in Jesus name, amen!

Just got my results from CA test and it is 32! 1st time below 40 which is considered normal, anything below 40! I started out at 109 a year ago. Praise God, I'm happy! Have a blessed weekend and God bless you and heal us all in Jesus name, amen! <3

Here I am 3 years later ... ran out of fenben about 6 mos. ago but fixing to get more of it. NOW back on Ibrance and Letrozole but just quit the letrozole AGAIN because THIS TIME it was the culprit for the really high blood pressure. I was going to continue with it as long as adding additional bp meds would keep bp down but just today after taking 50 mg. atenelol and 50 mg. losartin at 9 a.m., at noon my bp was 190/87 and that is just unacceptable. I am writing this to myself as well, as pulling up these old posts helps me to understand what I have been doing as I don't keep very good notes LOL ... this is a way of looking back. To update anyone reading this mess, I had stopped ibrance before several years ago as IT was giving me chest pains, now it's the letrozole and the ibrance is behaving itself. Both my CA 27-29 and CA 3-15 was up in the 400's 6 mos. ago and both are slowly coming down now and in the 200's. TY Jesus! The letrozole doesn't seem to make a difference as I've already stopped it once for 42 days and restarted, and the month and a bit I was off my numbers still came down on the CA's. What a roller coaster ride this is, but I'm nowhere near ready to exit! I ask in Jesus name for a cure for this monstrous disease and to bless and heal us all, amen. (I will look for you Miracle but I wanted to respond here so as not to lose track of this thread).
