I think it is harder to be the one supporting the patient than it is to be the patient. There is a sense of helplessness because you really can’t take on her pain or the side effects or know how she feels compared to yesterday. Are you living at home with her and is there anyone else helping you? What does she say about how she thinks she is doing? It sounds like you need some support as well. Hugs. Elaine

I live with my mum it’s been just me and my mum for years. It has been really hard but I’m learning to live it and so is she she is so strong and has a good attitude towards it xx

If it’s just you and your mom I can understand your worry! Please try to find a support group or a friend or a relative that you can talk to and feel supported by. You have your mom but I know you don’t want to dump all your worries on her. You need at least another person to share those worries. Keeping you in my thoughts. Elaine
