Doxycycline Vitamin C and other things

I originally landed in this forum because I was looking for patients using COC Protocol. We're interested in it as an extra arm of treatment. I also noticed discussions mentioning scepticism regarding repurposed drugs. Scepticism is a powerful tool, we should all apply it to our daily lives. Never take anything at face value.

So I have been reading this morning about Doxycycline and what maybe at action and how that could hurt 'all cancers'. Pub Med has lots of research papers on this.

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/?te...

It seems that it could affect cancer at a cellular level there is an investigation here for Stage I to III BC. The aim being to reduce MBC with post treatment cycles of Doxycycline.

Further more there is another research paper which cover the use of Doxycycline and Azithromycin (Both antibiotics) and Vitamin C to synergistically corrupt cancer cells and force them down a path towards a phenotype which can be exploited to starve cancer stem cells.

I wish I had listened more at school, this stuff really is amazing.

I thought this info might be useful to illustrate that these drugs are being researched right now and it's worth the effort to read these research papers.

Yes it’s all interesting stuff

I have an appointment in London on 11th June at the COC clinic..I just want to explore other options

However I would never stop the drug combo I’m prescribed by my oncologist but something in addition that may help me live longer interests me very much

I worry why anyone would do that. This did not work out for Steve Jobs even with all his wealth. He delayed conventional treatment to the detriment of his life.

Out of interest how long did it take to get your appointment?

After sending all my medical records I was given an appointment for 3 weeks later

I have estrogen receptors that have changed 8 times and do not respond to aromatase inhibitors. I had a positive response to fluvestrant the first time and then it didn't work. Then I did two rounds of Ibrance and started the third and stopped. I was diagnosed in 1975 with borderline diabetes. In March I had skin cancer on my stomach. While on the cancer drugs, it progressed. I had an appointment on July 16, 2019 to have it removed and biopsed. I started taking Metformin on June 28th. A week later I had to cancel the appointment for the removal of the skin cancer and biopsy because it was gone. While going over my scans, it was shown that my bone mets had not progressed and my oncologist was surprised because it looked like one of my liver mets was dying. I had been on the Metformin at that time for a month. I truly believe that many people are borderline diabetics and don't know it because the 3-hour blood glucose test doesn't show it. Of course, my onccologist wants me on Zeloda. I won't get on it for at least a month because I want to see what the Metformin does on its own. I have already been damaged by chemo. I am having a severe balance problem. I had all three polio viruses, spinal/bulbar, lung and muscular. It's a miracle I survived. Cancer drugs are very dangerous for me as the three polio viruses viciously attacked my central nervous system, something that chemo also does.

Did you get this from Jane Macelland book " Starving your cancer " without starving yourself? She Has videos on you tube and mentions other drugs like Pinworm medicine mebenazole which is cheap in other countries but expensive in the USA. She used these off label drugs low-cost drugs. She also has a closed fb page you can ask to join. It sounds fascinating. Please look into it ladies. Her kindle book is only 4.50 . The book is a real eyeopener. Don't miss it. She did go through conventional treatment twice and survived it , but got very proactive with her own research when she realized everyone, even her doctors expected her to die. Conventional treatment would not have saved her life. Especially when the chemo and radiation resulted in leukemia.( after beating her lung cancer with her methods plus surgery ) youtube.com/watch?v=qReudtk...

No but my wife has read the book. So I keep a look out for papers that tie in to some of the drugs.

Did you notice one of her most recommended supplements was berberine? It does the sets thing as metformin and you don't need a prescription I ordered some right away and take 500 mgs 3 times a day as per her book.

Yes. We’re trying to work out the Metro Map. It’s very complicated.

I found this lady who has made an attempt. I’ve not read it fully yet...
