Multivitamin recommendations and do Biotin supplements help with hair loss/thinning?

Hi. I am on Ibrance and Faslodex and would like to know what brand of multivitamins can you recommend. Also, I am experiencing more hair thinning on Ibrance. Can those who use Biotin supplements share their experience? Do they work to slow the hair loss?

My hair has thinned..I have extensions..they look fab...expensive but I’m worth it!’

Hi,

I take Biotin and Nourkrin. The hair loss has stopped after 4 months but my hair looks a bit sorry for itself, very brittle. I also wear extensions and scrunchies and do not feel as bad about it.

My hair thinning also stopped after about 4 months. I got my hair cut shorter so it doesn’t look as thin. It seems to be getting a little thicker now, at about 9 months. I use a Redken hair oil on it while it is still wet and that helps a lot with the dryness.

My hair is still falling out and takes a lot of work in the morning to be presentable at work. I am getting ready to start cycle 9 ibrance/Letrazole. I have tried biotin but no improvement but have not had any affect on my CA 27-29. I just changed shampoos this week to Tea Tree anti thinning. I ordered Halo Couture extensions and the hair dresser heard and seen good things with this product. We shall see.

Thanks so much to all of you for replying. My hair stopped thinning after 4 months on Ibrance. It started thinning again with a vengeance after 12 cycles of Ibrance. I would like to try hair extensions but my hair is already cut short and all the extensions I’ve seen are for long hair. To make matters worse, my hair color is salt and pepper. God bless you all!

That’s been my experience too. I actually got a wig because I was sure I was going to wake up bald! I’ve never worn it, but my grandsons found it the other day. They make cute girls...lol! It wasn’t me that recommended the Extreme anti-snap treatment, so I’ll have to add that to my other Redken products.
