Hi, I am new to the site. I just turned 50. I was diagnosed stage 4, de Novo, in June 2018. I have mets in pretty much every bone in my body, about 7 in the liver and a large mass in my left breast. I have 4 kids ranging from 20 to 10 years old. I am hanging in there. Have been on Ibrance, Femara and Xgeva singe June 2018. I had my ovaries taken out in July 2019.

I was surfing this site, reading all the similar stories. I found the link to Dr. Lin's video, which was so informative. But I can't seem to find it again. I wanted to share it with my husband and go over it again myself.

Does anyone have the link? There was also a link to other presentations at a Dana-Farber Cancer Conference/Seminar with it, that I had wanted to watch as well.

Looks like you received the link from Sandra, so I won't re-send, but just wanted to add that Dr. Lin has been my wife's oncologist for almost two years now and she is truly awesome. So glad that she is leading the EMBRACE Program and doing other types of outreach & communication in addition to her amazing research and clinical work. Glad that your husband is interested in seeing some of the presentations--as a husband, I got a lot of good info from the presentations, just as I do from this great site and the various members of this incredible community!

I found her video speeches on you tube. Search Dr Nancy Lin Dana Farber. Because of this I took my daughter to see her and she is every bit as good as I heard. Very caring honest and informative. Hope this helps you. 😘

I receive treatment in VT but my oncologist consults with Dana Farber. I’m also part of their EMBRACE program.
