Neck collar

Hi my name is Sima, 70 years old. Got bc April 2011, t1n1m0 her2 And receptor positive did whole nine yards & was on tamoxifen until one month ago. August of this year got severe neck pain, all my blood works were clean however MRI and pet showed I have Met bone cancer on my neck. Started IBRANCE faslodex and xgeva two weeks ago! Very tried! However my main problem is with the neck collar, I cannot drive and lost my independence! Any one with my condition please advise me how long I will be on this thing?

Hi Zebra!

I had extensive bone mets to begin with also...the Zometa took away aches and soreness pretty quickly...I’m on Xgevs now after 2 years so I can’t say how quickly it works to begin with but hopefully soon...😀
