Have you dated since you’ve been diagnosed with MBC? Has it been difficult?

Sporadically. Honestly I am so used to being by myself most of the time. I feel like most men wouldn't want to date you if you have a terminal illness. Maybe there is someone nice out there that would but would think think most would choose someone without an illness.

This is not my personal experience, but I do know someone who was diagnosed metastatic after (finally) divorcing her husband and on the verge of completing nursing school, all while caring for her teenaged son. This was eight years ago. She met someone wonderful and got married last year...
