I don't know about that, but I can tell you that there have been a few times that a radiology report has mentioned something "suspicious for cancer" and my onc has ordered more tests and it's turned into a real wild goose chase. When my onc has looked at the films herself, she's seen nothing at all where the radiologist thought there might be a problem. That has made me wonder if some radiologists are so worried about missing something when they know that we have a metastatic cancer than they over react to things. If you are on either Ibrance or Afinitor, have a conversation with your onc soon as those meds can cause side effects in the lungs. That can be serious!
