Hi Kats3... :) I am on Faslodex, Goserelin, Ibrance and Zometa. This treatment plan has been working exceptionally well for me for 20 months. I've been NED for 12 months. For the most part my side effects are very tolerable. I just have a lot of joint pain/fatigue that can make mobility quite difficult at times. Right now I'm just trying to enjoy my calm in the storm, travel and enjoy time with my family. I have gotten involved with some MBC advocacy groups and I work as a volunteer for Living Beyond Breast Cancer. I find keeping myself very, very busy really helps keep my spirit positive and strong. I've had to give up many of the things I used to be able to do but I've quickly replaced them with new things that are within my capabilities. This diagnosis requires a life makeover. It isn't easy but I'm just glad to be alive and doing well.

Hi Kat. I was diagnosed initially stage IV at 36 in 2007. I have IDC that was originally diagnosed as Her2- & ER/PR+, graded 2-3 with mets to bones. I have had a recurrence in 2015. Trying targeted therapy now. Unfortunately I do not know the hormone or receptor status with my recurrence. The biopsy was to small to test. There is a 10% chance of the cancer changing. We have had success with treating with chemo to clear mets in 2015 of the chest and lung. We are working now on trying to stabelize or get rid of the bone mets. The bones mets are in my, hip, shoulder, and vertebrae.

As you can see my cancer has been living with me for sometime. I have gotten comfortable assisting people whomhave found themselves navigating through breast cancer. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime. I have some knowledge & experience that I can share that maybe helpful to you. I am also good listener and a great cheerleader.
