Ok - so it sounds like you need to consider regular contraception as withdrawal method is unreliable. One week before your period - depends on your cycle length. If it was more than 14-16 days after the start of your previous period - then its lower risk. However you should see your next period arrive on time, and if it doesn't then Im afraid you will need to do a pregnancy test again ( so long as 3 weeks from when sex happened )
My wife did X3 pregnancy tests over a few months and was on the pill , he's now 27 !
Oh and cramps and nausea - have both of you been screened for STIs ?
