WOULD AN STI SHOW IN A TEST RESULT WHEN DIAGNOSED WITH GROUP B STREP?

I received results about a month ago from a test result following a colposcopy treatment. This showed GROUP B STREP. I was informed this was not an STI and isn't something you treat. Last week, I got a urine infection and then was advised to take in a further urine sample. This has come back abnormal and now have been given a kit to test for chlamydia and gonorrhoea. If I do have an STI, would this not have shown up on my previous urine sample four weeks ago? Therefore if I do have this STI, would it mean I have only picked this up within the last four weeks?

Thanks in advance.
