Asthma and Reflux
So a bit of a vicious circle - is the
Seretide
causing the throat burn or is the reflux causing the throat burn. Does anyone else have this and have you found anything to counter the burny throat?

Problems with alternative inhaler to Seretide
I have flagged this up with my GP and she has written the issue on my next prescription , although when I discussed it with the pharmacy they were not convinced they would be able to supply the original
Seretide
Inhaler. Anybody else had this problem.

Seretide evohaler intermittent misfire
I have been using
Seretide
Evo 250 for several years. I am careful to prime the inhaler at the beginning with 4 puffs and shake it adequately before use every time. I store it correctly and keep it (the spray nozzle in particular) clean.

Fostair - lactose-free?
As the steroid in my
Seretide
inhaler is thought likely to be the cause of my recently diagnosed adrenal insufficiency, he proposes to switch me from
Seretide
to Fostair as the steroid in that is less potent.

Trouble with inhalers
told her that I had felt better when using the
Seretide
, and she almost "Told me off" by saying that I should keep using the Trimbow and if I went back to the
Seretide
, then there was nothing she could help me with, 😳😳.

cataracts b.c. of long-term steroids
I was not good with rinsing my mouth after having switched to Trimbow from
Seretide
. Before, I could feel the
Seretide
"powder" in my mouth, so I normally would rinse it; with Trimbow I do not feel anything (feels like Vontolin), so I became sloppy.

Relvar Ellipta side effects
So, I was taken off of
Seretide
(using for years without issue). Finished my last inhaler 4 days ago, and am now on Relvar Ellipta. Been on it for 4 days and experiencing a sinus headache for 2 days. No hoarseness and no other issues. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

She's already on
seretide
, has anyone else had experience of this, and how did they finally get it under control? My oldest also has asthma, and has very few problems

fostair to seretide
Should I go back to fostair or keep trying
seretide
? Review & prescription change was carried out by HCA who had done a years course in asthma. She also did spirometer which showed well controlled asthma.

Biologics
I have
Seretide
250mcg x2 puffs twice daily and pulmicort nebs 2mg twice daily. They’re saying the high doses of inhaled steroids are the cause of my infections, but I’m colonised with pseudomonas and have nebulised antibiotics to keep under control.

Duoresp spiromax
He suggested to stay on
seretide
high dose until my asthma improves significantly. He suggested I try duoresp spiromax as a reliever instead of ventolin, with a view to replacing
seretide
also in the future if I wanted to. I tried it one day when I was a bit chesty in damp weather.

IMPROVEMENT!
I'm now taking a
Seretide
250 inhaler and feeling a whole lot better. Although still not brilliant, I can see the improvement on my daily peak flow readings. The physios at my pulmonary rehab course are putting me on more advanced exercises as they feel I'm not being challenged enough.

Trimbow / Fostair
I saw a respiratory consultant recently and as most other inhalers have already been tried he suggested switching my
seretide
and spiriva to trimbow.

Do I still have asthma?
I was put on
Seretide
inhaler for the first years and never had any more breathing problems. Was also given a "rescue" inhaler, Salbutamol, which I never have had a need to use. A few years ago, my pulmonologist changed my medication to Relvar Ellipta 92/22.
