Ascending Aortic Aneurysm Repair

I will go to have my aneurysm repaired on May 16th. I am frightened, but trying not to be too fixated. I will have a cardiac catheterization and a echocardiogram on the 16th, and then the following day I will have my surgery. Depending on the results of the testing on the 16th, I will either have an aneurysm repair or aneurysm repair plus bypass, etc.

don;t let yourself dwell on it. It is amazing how easy things, we thought major a few short years ago, are dealt with now. Good vibes going out to you! Hang in there! I find it helps to remind myself that if it was going to kill me immediately, I would be in the hospital being stared at already! take care of you.

I worry about my s.o. dealing with it. He doesn't drive and we have a little dog with Cushing's disease as well as another younger dog. We're trying to figure out what to do for them.
