I'm so sorry to hear u are both struggling he is prob scared and we always take things out on those closest to us. Is there any other family who can help? Also talk to cardiac nurses about his anxiety they will be able to recommend groups to help. Good luck x

He is scared. he needs to talk with a counsellor. He needs to find ways to manage his anger and unburden his anxieties and depression. It can be PTSD.

I'm sorry you're having to go through this. It has got to be very hard for you. Do you know if he sustained a anoxic or hypoxic brain injury from his sca? I did after my surviving my sca, which led to the things you're describing. How I discovered that I had sustained a brain injury was I complained to the doctor that I wasn't bouncing back to my normal self etc. She said maybe you sustained an anoxic brain injury. I asked her what kinds of things would I be experiencing if I had. She then proceeded to list off the symptoms. I said yes all of those. You may want to contact headway.org.uk/ to find out more. They are very helpful in regards to this. There are also many other resources available too. Let me know if you want any other references to this information. Also please feel free to contact me with further questions on here too. Wishing you hope in finding what you need.
