Sounds like a wee jock?

Yeah getting joint pains so reduced from 80mg atorvastatin to 40mg then to Rosuvastin 10mg seemingly it's 8x stronger so can't work it out

Yeah I've had my brand of statins changed three times and the dose changed also due to myalgia over a four month period, it unfortunately makes you feel hypocondriacal and arouses suspicions in the medical staff that you are anti medication. The onset is much the same with me, around two weeks after taking, and you persist as you feel it may settle down or you are prescribed antacids which in my case are ineffective. It unfortunately arouses suspicions of another onset and makes you question your condition. I refuse to accept the side effects/contra indications are acceptable and I am perceived as a "difficult" patient due to my nursing background. I hope you get a resolution soon.

I've had mine changed after wondering about side effects re them mixing with other medications .The accompanying paperwork was never put in the dossett box .I even had Raynauds diagnosed .As for the cramps /pins & needles were ignored even privately with no research or investigation.Could we both be of a certain age to encounter this inappropriate treatment ?As soon as Simvastatin was stopped never had pins & needles again yet it was cramps with next one.Funny I find acupuncture very effective & staved off the fatal effects of MI I am about to have the Microvascular investigated as angina spasms & PAH not showing up on Tests !This means cannot access the assistance medical & social when needed .I even wonder if adeliberate policy ?

Hi had a heart attack back in Feb like you had a stent put in so far all OK but every now and then do experience some sudden pains. Explained this to my g.p who told me I will get these due to your body getting use to the inland. Don't forget your body has gone though a major change. As long as you do regular exercise, eat the right foods, cut down or out drink and cigarettes take the statin's when told to your be OK.

Merry Christmas.
